Comments: We hired Jerry to help; I remove a pull-down attic stair and install a new one. It turned out that I helped him more than he helped me. Outside of a minor problem with a VERY close tolerance on the temporary supports, we had a good time, and all went well. He even cleaned up the mess we made to my wifes satisfaction. Comments: Jerry is the best of any trades person I have ever worked with in responding to a request for a quote. He is also helpful in that, when he felt he did not have the experience to do my job-building steps, he called a friend to ask if he could come talk with me about doing the job. Jerry's friend, Dave, built the steps and did a great job at a very good price and was also very helpful. I have already talked with Jerry about doing a job in my basement because I was so impressed with how he handled the steps job. And I will use his friend, Dave, again.

Comments: Decide to reinstall a wall ac in my kitchen. The old ac was removed several years ago when it died. The challenge was the ac needed to be installed behind a kitchen cabinet (original owners idea!) Jerry took on the job and had to make changes to accommodate the new ac and then the cabinet to fit back over the ac. Really good job on a very hot day. Ac works great (with cabinet doors open).In April 2019 He rescued us in very short notice by coming out and replacing a cord on a new stove that Jerry installed in an old house. He also cut out some shelving in a credenza so we could fit our new flat screen TV. He was very efficient and did a great job.

Comments: Jerry Thomson came to fix 2 steps and a handrail post. The job was bigger then thought because previous steps had no stringers and weren't done correctly, so it wasn't simply replacing whst was there. Steps are difficult for my mother, so it was very important that the steps and the handrail be just right. Jerry had her try out both and made adjustments SEVERAL TIMES, whatever was necessary to make it safer and better for my mother. I very much appreciated his patience and concern for her comfort and safety.

Comments: I had called Jerry and told him that I needed my Powder room and Downstairs Bathroom remodel. He informed he was too busy and referred me to Greg Simpkins(856 649 9181) I made an appointment with Greg at which time I informed him that I had all the materials for the projects. When he arrived he took all the necessary measurements of the Powder and Bathrooms. He also laid out all of the items that I had purchased to make sure they were the right fixtures , Toilet,Tiles,Medicine Cabinet, Lighting,etc There were a few items that I had missed he made a list for me to purchase. His prices are very competitive and in some cases were below the other contractors. He is very knowledgeable of all aspects of remodeling (Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and Painting). Greg cleans up after every day that he is on the Job You might have to wait for him to start your projects depending on the size. As far as I am concern it was well worth the wait. I have three more major projects to complete this year. Greg will be my Contractor.

He covered all our furniture and countertops when working in a particular area. He insisted on cleaning up anything which may have needed to be, each day. Even offered to vacuum our Living Room when he noticed a single leaf on the carpet that came in on his shoe. I would highly recommend Jerry and would hire him again. Comments: Jerry arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He installed wall shelves that I had purchased for my cats. Even though the shelves were heavy he made sure that they were hung securely for my cats safety. I am very happy with Jerrys handy-work and so are my cats! Feb 2019 update: I called Jerry again to replace my outside dryer vent cover. The job turned out to be more challenging then expected but he fixed it even better then it was before. He not only had to replace the cover of the vent but built additional supports for the panel around the vent. Jerry also cleaned up after the job and made sure everything was operational. I am very happy with Jerry's work!

They reattached the bracing for the heating duct which was over 30 feet long and secured it to its original placement. They also reinforced a cracked floor joist in the crawl space beneath my house.They also installed the diverter in the tub. Everything was done in one day. They cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed the area. My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received and would definitely would recommend them to anyone needing a handyman.

We wanted to have our kitchen cabinet doors spray painted - although he could not provide that service - he went above and beyond duty. He contacted a colleague who could, got a price, and transported the cabinet doors back and forth. We could not be more pleased. I'd like to give him an even higher customer service rating but 5 is the MAX allowed. We gave a 5 for quality because even when Jerry can't do the work himself, he has very good quality colleagues who can do the job.
